Good morning, crafters. Today I have a card kit to share with you. It's called 'So Loved Valentine Card Kit' by Photoplay.
This was such a fun and easy kit to put together, and there were even some leftover paper and stickers once it was done. These would be great for valentines day, but I plan to use them throughout the year.
Good morning, scrapbookers! It's time for another fabulous sketch challenge at Sketches in Thyme. I used this week's sketch to scrap a couple of pictures of my darling husband.
I love how the red washi tape is transparent and shows the black hearts of the background paper. The picture of him on a balcony was at the Beverly Hilton, a gorgeous and famous hotel in Beverly Hills. We were lucky enough to stay there one night, while my dad watched the kids.
Here is the sketch for this challenge created by Brenda Ragsdale. I just loved it.
If you enter this layout challenge, you can win a $30 gift card to Creative Embellishments. Link up your projects here.
I can't believe another year of school is coming to a close. I think it's bittersweet, but the kids are so excited for summer to start; we always have so much fun. Today's layout is of my daughter's first day of school last September.
My daughter (on the left) was so excited to have one of her bffs in her class. What a smile!
Happy Monday, crafting friends! Today I am sharing a couple of cards that I created for the Sparkle and Shine class going on at Online Card Classes. This class is all about glitter, sparkle, and shine. So needless to say, my house is covered in glitter (much to the dismay of my teenage son).
These first two birthday cards were created with heat embossing. The flame of the candles and words were embossed with a gold glitter embossing powder. The body of the candles were heat embossed five times with regular embossing powder. This created a smooth, thick, enamel feel to them.
The sparkle created on my next card was created with Bo Bonny Glimmer Paste and a stencil. The Glimmer Paste is great because it dries very, very quickly and is nice and thick.
Hope these cards inspired you to create a little sparkle and shine in your projects.
Good morning, crafters. Today I have a set of thinking of you cards to share with you. These cards are another take on the cards I created last month. I liked how they turned out so much that I thought I'd make a few more with different papers and sentiment. You can see the original set here.
Thinking of you cards are great for encouragement cards, birthday cards, everyday cards, or even Mother's Day cards. And if you are going to make one, you might as well make three. Right?
It's almost time for National Scrapbook Day!! Tomorrow's the big day and I'm hoping to get some crafting time in. There are always lots of fun challenges and websites to visit and I can't wait to participant in some. In the meantime, here is a very bright layout I created at a Scrap Society Crop. The theme was electric neon daisy, so it was a very colorful and fun crop.
The best part of the crop was our group (Design Divas) wearing tie dye shirts with light up tutus and flower headbands. How often can you do that and blend into a crowd? LOL. Good times.
Thanks for stopping by today. Have a wonderful weekend and Happy National Scrapbook Day!
